Essential Oils, the power of aroma, I have always known that essential oils were beneficial to our emotional health, but I have learned first hand that they can also enhance our physical wellness. My friend Suzanne introduced me to Young Living oils over a year ago when I was having trouble with my allergies. I used the oils and felt some relief, but I didn't stick to it. After recently battling a what seemed like month-long sinus infection and not wanting to take another round of antibiotics, I call Suzanne up and joined Young Living as a wholesale member and I'm feeling so much better. As a member I can order oils whenever I want at wholesale!
As I've used the oils I am amazed at the many benefits:
- Promote positive emotional energy
- Enhance physical wellness
- Purify and cleanse any environment
- Nurture healthy skin and hair
These oils can be diffused, inhaled, applied topically, incorporated into massage, or taken internally in a vegetarian capsule or used in teas or tasty recipes.
For those that are concerned about the use of essential oils in cooking, I understand your concerns. Quality is key, the fact is not all oils are created equal. The process by which oils are extracted is very important. Most over-the-counter oils can be toxic, especially if they are created with the use of solvents and high heat that damages the plants and in some cases chemicals are used to extend the shelf life of the oils. Young Living's Seed to Seal process insures that a pure non-toxic oil is extracted. When using Young Living oils only a small drop is needed. If you still feel uneasy about using oils in food, just don't use them in your food. You can still reap the benefits without using them in your food.
There are other oils out there but here are some facts about Young Living that sets them apart
- Young Living owns their own farms.
- Young Living has a 5 step Seed to Seal process.
- Seed
- Cultivate
- Distill
- Test
- Seal
When oils are used they penetrate the cell membranes which allows them to travel through the blood and tissue to enhance the cellular functions. Which is why I would recommend you use only high quality oils.

My daughter got me into the Young Living Oils. I don't have or use them like she does, but I do love the ones that I have. My favorite is thieves (it smells so good), I love lavender, lemon, peppermint, and purification. These are the ones I use the most.
Celeste says
My favorite is lavender and thieves and I use purification in my diffuser during my meditations.

I love my essential oils, and lavender is definitely my favorite of all. That photo of the lavender field just make me very happy. My parents used to have a small plot of it. Gorgeous!

I would love to walk the fields of lavender, it's one of my favorite herbs.
